I ask clients to send photos of the areas they’d like sodded. From those photos, I can identify the materials that may be needed and provide an initial budget.
If the initial budget aligns with what the client wants to spend, I’ll visit the property, meet with the client, and take precise measurements.
Inadequate watering is one of the most common reasons sod fails. We inspect the irrigation system to ensure coverage is adequate and uniform, giving the new sod the best chance of long-term success.
Once the project is approved, we schedule and complete the installation. Every sod project is different, so we determine exactly what is needed—such as removing existing sod or grading the area—to ensure the job is done correctly. The full process is outlined in the quote.
After the project is complete, we follow up to make sure everything is progressing as it should. We inspect the sod and adjust the irrigation timer as needed.
We provide clients with the information they need to help ensure the project’s success. We explain the recommended mowing height, suggest a fertilization company, and review any necessary maintenance. My goal is long-term success, as a properly maintained sod installation can last 15–20 years or more.
