An irrigation revamp is for an existing system that can still be used but needs broader improvements to its coverage, layout, equipment, or overall performance.
After completing an irrigation consultation, CDS Landscaping identifies which parts of the system can be reused and where changes are needed. This may include updating sprinkler heads, adding heads, improving their locations, or addressing valves and the timer or controller.
A revamp may be recommended when the existing irrigation piping and parts of the system remain usable, but smaller repairs would not fully address the coverage or performance concerns.
CDS explains the findings from the consultation, outlines the proposed improvements, and determines the materials and budget. If the existing system cannot be reused effectively, we may instead recommend a new irrigation system design and installation.
Existing sprinkler heads are flagged, and locations for additional or new heads are identified based on the improvements needed for the property.
Valves are checked to make sure they are operational and cleaned as needed. The timer or controller is also evaluated and replaced when needed.
For revamp work, CDS uses 6-inch pop-up heads with rotary nozzles. Heads are installed on flex line and updated or added to improve uniform coverage.
